Farm)

Two attached cottages, at right angles. Late C18, with
alterations. Roughcast rubble-stone walls, painted. Thatch
roof with gable-ends. C20 brick stacks at gable ends, and at
ridge centre. No. 9 on roadside, 1½ storeys, 5 windows, ground-
floor: 2-light casements at left end; small sashes with glazing-
bars at right end, unusual wood dentil cornices with bracketed
wooden hoods over. Two C20 dormers (casements) at left end,
square casement with glazing-bars, 2 sashes at right upper.
Doors at left, plank and glass, C20. At right, plank with the
top half, glazed, stable-type. No. 8: small cottage at rear,
same materials, 1½ storeys, C20 metal casements, plank-and-
muntin front door in the angle, C20.
