GV II of East House)

Former School building now private house and attached cottage.
C18, with C20 refenestration. Rubble-stone and chalk-block
walls, rendered and painted white (Palmer's Cottage). Thatch
roof, gabled at left hand and hipped at right hand. Brick
stacks at left hand gable, and ridge centre, 1½ storeys.
5 windows in total (2 + 3). Two-light wood casements with
glazing-bars, C20. Entrances: Old School, C20 door on right
hand end under pentice roof. Stable-door on front elevation,
C20. Palmer's has plank door at centre, C20. Thatch porch
canopy on wooden posts.
