Detached house, formerly probably 2 cottages. Datestone 1790 with
initials MID over door. Random coursed rubble stone with flush
quoins, stone slate roof, rendered end stacks with brick caps.
Single main range of 2 storeys and attic with set back wing to
right of 2 storeys, probably originally a separate cottage. Main
range has 3 windows, paired 6-pane casements with timber lintel.
Ground floor has paired 8-pane flanking central raking porch hood
and plank door, both probably of C20. Single central paired 6-
pane casement hipped dormer. Wing to right has single window to
each floor, different casements and plank door in angle with
projecting corner porch. Interior probably still has original
beams, boxed in.
