C17 timber-framed, refronted in red brick in late C19. Black glazed pantile
roof with gable ends. Two storeys. Five windows, sashes, some with glazing
bars. Post Office has projecting late C19 shop front, Carters has a small
shop front and panelled door. The Maltings has projecting adjoining one
storey shop at end. The Maltings has plastered north gable end with a three-light
C17/18 window with leaded panes. Interior stop-chamfered beams, The Maltings
has exposed timber-framing.
