Barn. Early C18 and late C18. Square-panelled timber-framing unpainted brick infill, thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching, brick extension with red tile roof. Rectangular plan with late C18 extension onto north gable end. Barn; central double width openings with plank doors. Cross-shaped ventilation holes at the centre of each panel. Two-storeys. C18 wash-house extension with hayloft, pitching window and 2-light segmental- headed casement lower right, dentil decoration at eaves. Barn interior; 3-bays with original queen strut trusses with trenched purlins. Flagged threshing floor. Washing copper in situ in former wash-house. (Forthampton Estate).
