5/21 Limekiln Farmhouse

Detached farmhouse. Early C18. Rubble-stone walls. Clay-tile roofs with
stone slates at eaves, and stone gable-copings. C19 and C20 brick stacks
at gable-ends. Parallel ranges. Two storeys. 3 windows, 3-light wood
mullions, with wood casements and horizontal glazing-bars. 4-light at
right ground. Segmental window heads with stone voussoirs. Front door is
off centre to left, flush-panelled with two glazed lights, C19. Trellis
wooden porch, and hipped slate roof, C20. The rear wall has 3-light C20
wood casements, and door at centre. Attached barn with loft at east end.
Rubble-stone walls. Clay-tile roof with quarter-hip. Inverted garage doors
and one plank door. At the rear there is a flight of steps to an upper level.
Plank loft door.
