1862, C C Creeke. Picturesque though symmetrical, Romanesque style in coursed
Purbeck rubble with voussoirs in dark brown ironstone. Three 2-storey gables
with finials and kneelers, 4 similar small gables over entrance porches. Between
main gables only 1 storey with deep slate roof, stone chimneys with set-offs
on slope. Pairs of round-arched lights under each window arch, with diamond lattice
glazing to tympanum. Round arches also to doors and to blind recess in upper
storey of each main gable. Stringcourse breaking up over windows and porches.
Rear also has blind recesses in 3 gables, modern extensions below. Grouped freestanding
storehouses.
All the listed buildings in Wallisdown Road and Columbia Road form a group.
