GV II

Four attached cottages. Mid C18, with some C20 refenestration.
Rubble stone walls, rendered and colour washed. Thatch roof with
gable ends. Brick stacks at left hand gable, party wall of
Smithy and Middle, party wall of Angel and Steps. 1½ storeys
and 2 storeys, 3 windows, 3 windows, 2 windows, 2 windows, irregular
fenestration. Smithy has C20 metal casements with lead
lights; remainder are 2 light wood casements with glazing bars,
wood cills. Doors: Smithy, left of centre, plank and glazed C20,
gabled porch with tiled roof. Middle: plank door with weatherboard
brick porch with pentice slate roof, C19. Angel: plank door with
one glazed light, rendered porch and gabled slate roof, C19,
Steps: plank door, glazed, C20. Thatch porch canopy over.
