Smithy, C18, altered and north range built c.1880. Squared stone with tooled dressings, north range tooled stone with rock-faced dressings; slate roof. L-plan. South elevation in two parts: left section one storey, two bays; Yorkshire sash windows. Taller one-storey right section, has three blacksmith's windows in right part of facade, the central set in old chamfered doorway. Gables with moulded kneelers and overlapped slab coping; stepped and corniced ridge and right end stacks. North range set back to right, lower bay to far right, with similar gables and ridge stack.
