Detached farmhouse. Mid C18. Squared rubble and dressed stone
walls. Hipped, clay tile roof with stone slates at eaves. Stone
stack at centre ridge over spine wall. Two storeys and attics.
3 windows widely spaced sashes with thin glazing bars. Blocking
in Broadmayne brick beside top left window. Front door, right of
centre, recess panelled and flush panelled, early C19. Iron
trelliswork porch. Some later French windows on other elevations.
The internal fittings have mostly been renewed. (R.C.H.M. Dorset
II, p.387 (6)).
