Public House. C17 and later. Painted brick and flint with pantile roofs.
Range facing road : One storey becoming two to south owing to fall in ground.
C19 3-light round arched window with pilasters and key blocks, the central
light rising higher. Steeply pitched hipped roof returns to south to continue
original building, the plan now obscured by later 2 storey gabled extension
to east. 2 storey south front much altered. 2 storey wing to right with
4 sash windows with glazing bars. C20 glazed door to ground floor. Rubble
and pantile outbuilding to right also included.
