Detached farmhouse. Coursed, squared and dressed limestone,
sandstone quoins, thin stone slate roof, ashlar stacks with moulded
cappings. 'T'-shaped plan. 2 storeys and garret, cellar under
left-hand wing. Gable end projecting forwards left lit by double-
chamfered, stone-mullioned casements, Phoenix insurance plaque over
first floor window. Stone mullioned casements lighting cellar
below. Blocked doorway with timber lintel left of ground floor
window. Main body set back at right angles on right, 4 bays lit by
2 and 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with
stopped hoods and horizontal glazing bars. Former front door with
hollow-moulded, basket-headed surround, pulvinated frieze with
moulded upper margin above, now blocked, with 2-light casement
inserted. C19 four-panel front door within lean-to porch in angle
between wing and main body. Flat gable-end coping, single and twin
gable-end stacks with moulded cappings, one repaired C20.
