Row of 3 cottages, now post office and 2 cottages. C17, C19, altered C20. Part timber
frame with painted brick infill, part painted brick. Old tile gabled roof. Rectangular
plan, probably of 3 framed bays. One and a half storeys. One large ridge chimney in
centre with offset head and clay pots. 3 gabled dormers facing road with one 2-light
(on right) and two 3-light leaded casements. 4 windows below, with glazing bars: on
the left a double sash shop window, in the centre a sash, to right of this a horizontal
sliding sash and similar but larger sash on right end. Between this window and the next
on the left is a plank door with segmental-arched head. There is a similar door on the
right of the shop window. The shop entry is on the north (left) gable, together with
an early C20 shop window.
