40 yards south-west
of Hellens

GV II

Cider house with either apple store or granary on first floor, now storage
building. "1810" on south gable. Brick with tiled roof. Rectangular plan
aligned north-north-west/south-south-east. Two storeys, two windows.
East elevation: segmentally-headed window openings with casements to ground
floor, central ledged doors to both storeys, the one to the ground floor under
a segmental head, tallet stairs with dog kennel beneath rises from left to
upper door, 2-light leaded casement with segmental head in north gable.
Interior: complete cider press and cider mill on left hand ground floor;
about nine pegged bays of triple angle struts to roof. Encloses the main
approach to Hellens (qv).
