Farmhouse, now 4 houses. Late C15, extended C16 and C17. Altered C19, altered and
restored 1981. Part brick, part timber frame with painted render infill. Old tile gabled
roofs. T-plan with additional projection on north west. Part 2 storeys, part 2 storeys
and attic. 3 chimneys with offset heads and tall, clay pots. Timber framed section:
at east end (head of T), 3 framed bays. Brick plinth. Jettied and close-studded on
north gable, entrance on south gable. C20 casement windows located within frame.
C20 carved oak bargeboards with leaf and floral motif. One-bay symmetrical north front,
3-light casement on each floor. Frame exposed with new oak replacements. Brick section
to west: plinth, string course, moulded eaves carried across gable at right end. Sash
windows with glazing bars. All openings have segmental brick arch heads. North front:
5 bays with centre bay blocked. One-bay gable on right with small 3-light attic casement
window. One-bay gable return.
