SU 11 SE ELLINGHAM, HARBRIDGE & IBSLEY SOUTH GORLEY

2/4 Hucklesbrook Farmhouse

19.5.86 II

Farmhouse. Early C18 altered early C19. Brick, old plain tile roof. 2 storey,
4 bay with low 2 storey 2 bay wing added to one end. Garden front has in original
RH of centre bay 4-panel door inside C19 gabled trellised porch. Each side early
C19 16-pane sash under render arch. In LH bay 2-light casement under segmental
arch of blue headers. Each side of porch remains of moulded brick string cut by
C19 sashes. On 1st floor to LH 12-pane sash, in other bays 16-pane sashes, all
with rendered arches. Above door large ridge stack, rebuilt C19 with corner
pilasters. To RH added wing has in centre 3-light casement on both floors, that
to ground under segmental arch. Roof half-hipped. Outshot to rear.
