House. Early C19, & 1868. Brick, with slate roof at the front and tile
at the rear. Symmetrical 2-storeyed front (south) of 2 bows, each with 2
windows (except for doorway at the west side). Stone plinth and cills,
red header brickwork with rubbed flat arches. Sashes in reveals. The old
arched fanlight, with circular and curved pattern, survives within the
old door frames, now within a stone Doric doorcase dated 1868. This has a
concave inner moulding, patterned wall above the arch, and an architrave
with a cornice (following the wall curve) at the top. The inner hall has a
top-lit staircase, and original door frames.
