House. C17, or earlier with C20 alterations. Cruck-framed with walls of
timber-framing, brick and concrete block, and roof of bituminous felt tiles.
One storey with attic. To the left of the porch the front wall is of concrete
blocks and has a C20 steel French window. To the right is exposed square-
panelled framing, partly repaired with painted concrete, and one C20 window.
Three C20 attic dormers. Doorway covered by C20 flat-roofed porch. Chimney
at left. Left-hand gable wall has exposed cruck truss, partly covered by
lean-to addition. Rear wall has exposed framing in irregular square panels
with floor beams tusk-tenoned through principal posts. Interior: second
cruck truss visible to left of doorway.
