Two barns. Early C18 and early C19 with mid C19 link. Timber-frame on rubble
plinth with plain tile roofs. Overall L-plan. Barn fronting Hope Lane: brick
infill, 3 framed bays, 3 square panels high to wall-plate with straight tension
braces; left gable: roof truss with 3 queen struts and trenched purlins.
Barn at right angles: weatherboarded, 3 bays with central threshing floor.
The barns are linked by a brick structure in English garden wall bond on a
rubble plinth.
