House, C17 timber-framed and painted brick. Gabled plain tile roof with end-wall stacks, two C19 gabled dormers. One storey and attic, two window range. Square framing, 5 x 2 panels, two small C19 projecting windows on brackets and very small triangular oriel between. Glazing bars. One storey timber-framed north end lean-to shop. Glazing bar shop window. Brick rear wing added in 1961, and extension to south side in 1986. Panel within carved 1905 with "Ye Old House 1608".
