Stables and pig sty, now store. c1800 with mid-C20 alterations. Painted
brick with some timber-framing and tiled roofs. Two levels with dentilled
eaves cornice; two bays; main west elevation has two round-headed windows
and two doors with cambered heads. Attic light in south gable end. Interior:
central timber-framed partition. Pig sty adjoins south gable end; two levels;
two bays; basket-headed archway in west elevation with small pointed opening
to upper left. South gable end has a collar and tie-beam truss with two struts;
door with cambered head and blocked hole in gable apex with alighting ledge.
Also addition at north gable end of stable; single bay; stable door in west
elevation; diaper ventilation patterns and shuttered window with cambered
head at north gable end. The stables and pig sty occupy a prominent position
beside Perry Mill (qv). Included for group value.
