GV II
School, now house, and railings. Late C18 - early C19. Rubble, stone slate
roof, wrought-iron railings. 1 storey with basement; 2 windows. Quoins.
Board door to right. 1 sash window with glazing bars, 1 fixed-light 12-pane
window. End stack to left. Extension to right of 2 lower storeys.
Railings in front have knob finials and urn finials to standards. Built by
the Quakers as a first-floor school room with stabling below for horses
brought by Friends travelling to meetings from considerable distances.
