Corn mill and adjoining granary. C18 on older site, altered mid-C19.
Sandstone rubble and brick with some weatherboarding and slate roof.
Three levels, the third level being added in C19 in brick. Three bays.
South front elevation: there is a ground floor square window, first
floor 2-light window, a loft door inserted into a smaller opening with a
cambered head and two stable doors, one of which has a cambered head.
The overshot wheel survives in part at the east end. Interior: most of
the mill machinery survives including two of the three pairs of French
burr millstones, the rotating cleaners, shutes and gearing. Granary: adjoins
west end. Two levels and two bays. South elevation has an upper level
window and loft door and a double doorway beneath.
