Upper Burgate
6/102 Yew Tree Cottage


Cottage. Late C17, altered C18. On brick plinth, light timber-frame with painted
brick infill and additions, thatch roof. 1½ storey, timber-frame bay and stack
bay, and brick bay. Front has plank door under thatch hood on posts at LH of
frame bay. In each bay 2-light casement and 2-light eyebrow dormer. Stack bay at
RH end. Roof half-hipped with stack at each end, that to LH external.
