Saint Corentin
GV II

Gate-piers, and gate. Circa early C19. Serpentine rubble, dressed granite and
wrought iron gate. Sited at a splayed corner of the churchyard the piers are side walls rather like a lych-gate but right-hand (west) wall splays to allow gateway to widen towards church side. Cattle grid filled. Gate way approached from lower road level by 4 granite steps. Gate has bishops-mitre finials over bars, closer set up to lock rails, and with ogee-shaped scrolled and swagged top rail with urn finials over stiles and middle bar.
