Early C19. Stucco front with modillion pediment masking lower Welsh slated
roof. 3 storeys, Doric pilasters to ground floor with simplified entablature
with consoles, altered C19 shop windows. 4 sash windows, first floor architrave
surrounds, friezes and cornices; 2nd floor eared architrave surrounds. Upper
floors have quoins on right, tall fluted Corinthian pilasters flanking 3 windows
on left. 2 storey far right wing has modillion cornice and blocking course;
shop front similar to main block, 1st floor wide window in plain surround with
cornice on consoles.

Nos 2 to 6 (even) and 6A form a group with No 16 Market Square.
