House. C16 with later reworkings. Close-studded timber framing with
colourwashed brick and plaster infill. Clay tile roofs. Long rectangular 2-
storeyed block, first floor jettied. C19 single-storeyed addition to centre of
front, of colourwashed brick with hipped tile rooof. Slightly lower 2-storeyed
addition to RH gable end, with lighter timber framing. Ground floor has 2 3-
light casement windows to main block, and canted bay and casement to C19
block. First floor has 4 3-light casement windows. All windows retain leaded
lights. Part-glazed door to LH under sloping roofed open porch. Plank door
to RH surmounted by rectangular fanlight. External brick stack to LH gable
end. 2 red brick ridge stacks, one substantial.
