Circa 1540 original rectangular small house to which an L plan front wing was
added in 1720. North east side addition 1830. Addition on north west 1911.
Red bricks, some plum coloured brickwork to sides, old tiled roof. 2 storeys
and attics, road front of 5 sash windows with glazing bars in reveals under
cutter flat arches. 2 hipped dormer windows with lattice casements. Central
doorway has half glazed door, archivolt, surround with consoles to open pediment.
1st floor bands either side of doorway pediment, eaves cornice. South front
has red and grey chequer brickwork, corbelled brick cornice, Doric porch, canted
bay window on right. Interior: some C18 painted fielded panelling.
Little Germains, the Stables and the Front Railings form a group.
