Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and stone
slate roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: Stone quoins to corners
and band. Two bays between floors. Four-light chamfered mullioned
windows to both floors, that at first floor left being a wooden C20
replacement, all with stone lintels and sills. Central ground floor
doorway with plank door. Late C18/Early C19 extension to left having
larger rubble stones and quoins at corners with three-light windows to
ground and first floors. Right hand return has two ground floor
windows to gable end (C19 wooden replacements) . Recessed wing
extending to right with 2-light windows at right and 3-light stone
chamfered mullioned mezzanine window at left with similar 2-light
window to first floor above. Rear: Gabled wing at left with two
2-light ground floor blocked windows and 3-light first-floor window
all with chamfered stone mullions. C20 brick outshut to right with
door. To right of this is a projecting 2-storey gabled wing with
blank gable end.
