Pair of cottages, early C19, possibly by Ignatius Bonomi. Now one cottage Chevron-
tooled dressed sandstone; brick at rear. Welsh slate roofs with stone ridge and
gable copings. 2-storey, 3-bay east entrance front with slightly projecting gabled
centre. Central mid C20 door and overlight in original opening. 3-light ground-
floor and 2-light first-floor windows, with chamfered timber mullions. All openings
have chamfered surrounds and hoodmoulds. Hipped and gabled roof with cornice ridge
stack. Short screen wall with flat coping adjoins at right and links to No 10 (qv).
Similar left return has 6-panel door. 1-storey, 1-bay wing adjoining left end of
return has similar window and straight parapet with moulded chamfered coping. First
floor extension adjoining north side is not of special interest.
