House, C18 in 2 builds. Front squared stone, other elevations rubble
heightened in roughly-squared stone; graduated Lakeland slate roof. South
elevation to stableyard, 2 storeys, 1 + 3 bays. Three right bays have
pointed-arched recesses holding 4-pane sashes with flat lintels; similar
windows with segmental heads to lst floor. Left bay has passage entrance
with timber lintel, and 6-pane sash above. Hipped roof with ridge stack
near right end. Right return shows blocked slit vent.
