GV II


Small house. Early C19. Painted rubble walls, slate sills, hipped low-pitched
asbestos slate roof with projecting eaves, cast iron ogee gutters and painted brick chimneys over side walls.
Double depth plan of 2 equal reception rooms flanking central passage leading to
central stair between 2 shallow rear service rooms, plus C20 single-storey lean-to at left-hand side.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window south front with central doorway. 4-panel door
later glazed to top panels and overlight. Ground floor windows are wide canted bays with circa early C20 iron casements inserted to widened openings, first floor windows are original 16-pane hornless sashes with shallow arches over.
Interior not inspected.
