Row of 4 cottages. C16-C17, altered C18 and C19. 3 bays to left have
timber frame with brick infill, remainder refronted in brick C18-C19.
Thatched roof, 4 brick chimneys, those to centre C17 and C18. 1½ storeys,
6 bays, 2 bays to right at slight angle to remainder, left bay slightly
lower. 4 windows in thatch have 3-light casements, 2 to right with
leaded outer panes, the others with C20 barred wooden lights. Ground
floor has 9 irregular 2 and 3-light similar C20 casements, 2 in blocked
doorways. 4 C20 doors, that to No. 20 with thatched hood. Small C20
extensions to gables and rear. Interior of No. 22, to right, has timber
framing, chamfered spine beams and first floor of right bay on heavy C16 joists.
