Farmhouse and attached byre with loft. C18 of 2 builds with C19 additions and
alterations. Early-mid C19 farmbuilding. Coursed sandstone rubble; farmhouse
has stone-flagged roof and stone chimneys; farmbuilding has corrugated-asbestos
roof.

2-storey, 4-bay farmhouse has low plinth and alternating quoins. Replaced door
in projecting, chamfered surround between bays 3 and 4; flanking replaced 4-pane
sashes in projecting surrounds with raised keystones; identical sashes in
flush square surrounds to left. Roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers.
End and ridge stacks with top bands. 8-pane stair window, with segmental head,
and 2 flanking single-storey outshuts to rear.

Byre with loft:2 storeys, 2 bays; boarded door in surround with alternating
jambs; external stone stair to left; replaced casement to right; boarded door
and square opening above. Roof with replaced coping on left gable.
