Includes King Street (east side) No. 38. 3 cottages. Deeds
said to date from 1776. Watershot hammer-dressed stone with
pebble-dashed gable and graduated stone slate roof. 2 x 1
bays with 3 storeys. Nos. 1 and 2 Bridge End each have a
square-cut door surround to left and 4-light stone mullion
windows on each floor which are recessed in No.1 and flat-
faced in No.2. No.1 has a blocked taking-in door at second
floor level. Stone quoins and a central ridge chimney stack
with cornice. No. 38 King Street is entered via a stone
flight of steps in the gable at first floor level. The
mullioned windows in the gable have been pebble-dashed.
