Row of four cottages now a cottage. Late C15 or early C16 with late C17
or early C18 additions and alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with
thatched roof and tiled dormer windows. Two square planned red brick
ridge stacks. One storey and attic, original open hall of two bays with
perhaps floored end bays altered with inserted stacks and floors to four
cottages each with two yround floor and first floor rooms. Five early
three-light casement windows with leaded lights and six dormer windows.
Interior: some partitions removed to north rooms, original hearths and
exposed floor frames. Smoke blackened collar rafter roof overlaid by
later roofs.
