of Earcroft farmhouse

Barn, dated 1688. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins, stone slate
roof. Four bays; the 1st projects, the 2nd has a wagon entrance with
porch roof carried on a moulded double corbel to the right, the
4th has a door and one window on each floor, Left end wall has 3
doorways with chamfered surrounds (2 altered as windows), the lintel
of the centre having 2 lettered panels, the upper illegible and the lower
showing "1688" in relief. Ruinous lean-to at right end.
