6/10 Linhay about 30 metres south east
of Place Barton

Linhay. Probably late C18. Stone rubble with bitumen-painted slate roof, half-
hipped at ends.
Plan: 8-bay linhay at right angles to the barn (q.v.) and facing the main entrance to
the farmyard south of Place Barton (q.v.).
Exterior: Lofted linhay, the bays divided by stone rubble piers, the piers round on
plan. Formerly open-fronted, the bays have been filled in below the loft.
