Cottage. Mid C17 with c.1820 alterations and mid C20 renovation.
Timber-framed, roughcast and plaster rendered on brick plinth. Tiled roof,
mid C20, half hipped with c.1820 grey brick upper courses to original stack.
Three bay and lobby entry. One storey and attic. Two gable dormers, early
C19, and two enlarged C20 windows on either side of doorway to lobby entry.,
One early C19 horizontal sliding sash to gable end. Leanto addition to one
end. Inside. Abutting inglenook hearths of clunch blocks with red brick and
stop chamfered main beams. Reroofed, mid C20. One room converted to shop,
late C19, and retains bead and quirk boarding.
