House and farmhouse. 1766 inscribed on stone at rear of
farmhouse, perhaps earlier in parts, the house being added
in subsequent extensions. Hammer-dressed watershot stone
with graduated stone slate roof. Total of 5 bays and 2
storeys with a wing to rear right. The original farmhouse in
bays 1 and 2 has later doors to either side and 3, 4 and 2-
light recessed cavetto-moulded mullion windows on the ground
floor the middle one having been enlarged and had the
mullions removed. Similar 4 and 6-light windows to first
floor. Bay 3 is of a slightly later date, has quoins and
projecting plinth and a 5-light window (as above) on each
floor. The other bays were added in the C19, have a door
with dressed surround and single and paired sash windows now
with C20 casements. Total of 4 ridge chimney stacks. 2 and
3-light windows to rear some of which are blocked. Total of
4 ridge chimney stacks.
