Plan: 3-room and through passage plan, the lower end to the left heated
from a lateral stack at the front, the hall has a lateral stack at the back
and the inner right hand room was unheated. There is a circa C19 outshut at
the rear of the lower left end which was probably added when the house was
divided into 2 cottages, Heather Cottage occupying the lower left end and
passage and Kimberley Nurseries occupying the hall and inner room. In the
C20 a 2-storey extension was built at the centre of the back.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window north front Kimberley Nurseries

circa earlier C20 glazed and panelled door to the right with an early C20
canopy and a projecting lateral stack to the left with set offs and a tall
shaft.
At the back a large C20 2-storey flat roof extension at centre concealing
the lateral stack and an outshut to the right with a slate lean-to roof.
Interior: Only Kimberley Nurseries (former hall and inner room) was
inspected. It has no exposed early features Heather Cottage (formerly the
lower end) is said to have a concealed cross-beam and a large blocked
kitchen fireplace.
The roof has straight principal rafters with lapped and pegged collars.
