House. C18. Cob on stone plinth with slate hipped roof (replacing thatch).
Almost symmetrical, 2 storeys. Central door with little circa 1900 canopy, and to
either side a 2-light window. Two 2-light windows above with small, central
stairwell window. End-stack with associated fire-window and rear stack. To the
right of house, a small, much lower, probably C19 attached cottage. The house
forms an important visual terminal point to the group formed by the post office,
Nos. 1-6 Chapel Road and The Lodge.
