Two cottages, originally one dwelling. c.1700 renovated and restored mid-late C20. Timber-framed, rendered and long straw thatch, half hipped roof. Red brick ridge stack. Lobby entry plan. Two storeys and attic. One dormer. Two late C20 casements at first floor and two at ground floor on either side of doorway to lobby-entry. Extended at east end by one bay. Framed, rendered with thatched roof. Large extension at rear of No. 9. Late C20.

Inside: timber framing of regular scantling. Red brick inglenook hearth.
