west of Harcombe House

Service range to Harcombe House (q.v.), 1912 by L.A. Lucas of Exeter for Edward
Wills, Bart. Local grey limestone rubble with Ham Hill dressings to the south end
and moulded brick dressings to the east side facing the service wing of the house.
Slate roof, gabled at ends; axial stack, rear lateral stack with tall shaft.
Single-storey single depth range, possibly used as a boiler house or laundry.
The south end, flush with the south elevation of the house has a coped gable and 1 2-
light stone mullioned window below a 1-light window. To the left the range is linked
to Harcombe House by a gateway to the service yard. Facing the yard the east
elevation has 5 doorways (1 blocked) and 2 windows with Ham Hill lintels and moulded
brick jambs. The west elevation has 4 windows.
Interior not inspected.
The building is part of the south elevation of Harcombe House.
