Stone revetted terrace, walls, border kerbstones, and entrance piers. 1851
probably by Poynter. Terrace extends well forward of the house to contain formal
garden to south-east with flower-beds, kerbstones, revettments with rusticated
quoins, the angle capped with squat piers surmounted with pomegranates and urns at
intervals. Forecourt entrance flanked by large stone standing stags, on rusticated
piers, which could be pre-1851.
