TL 65 NE WOODDITTON SAXON STREET

7/185 Starlight Cottage

GV II


Cottage late C16 or early C17. Timber framed and plastered with
deep boarded eaves to plain tile roof. Ridge stack with rebuilt
upper courses. Painted brick plinth. One storey and attic; two
unit plan possibly with service bay demolished. Modern single
storey extension to north masks original lobby entry. Two,
four-paned windows to gabled street elevation. Interior has two
inglenook hearths rebuilt, exposed floor frames and wall frame
with large curved tension braces.
