Cottage. C15 open hall'and east crusswiiig. Renovated and extended. Timber
framed, plaster rendered and reed thatch. Half hipped roof to west end of
hall, and hipped to south end of crosswing. C17 inserted red brick stack.
Plan of two bay open hall and crosswing. One storey and attic to hall.
Large modern dormer. Similar casements at ground floor. Present doorway
opens to possible site of former cross passage between hall and crosswing.
Crosswing of two storeys. Interior: Open hall has centre truss with hollow
moulded arch bracing to tie beam, originally with crown-post. Inserted
chimney and floor. C17. Crosswing has original ceiling with joists laid
flat and unmoulded except for leaf stopped main beam.
