House and adjoining water mill, water mill now disused. C18 and C19. Stone rubble,
the house partly whitewashed with a slate roof gabled at end and 2 stone chimneys, 1
on the ridge and 1 at the junction with the mill. Hipped slate roof to mill, which
is at right angles to the house forming a T-plan. The mill has, at one time, been
provided with water wheels at both ends, wheels and machinery no longer exist. The
adjoining house was originally a 1-cell cottage and has been extended in 2 stages. 2
storeys. Large entrance to mill under timber lintel. The mill retains a circa mid
C18 roof with purlins and most rafters intact, it is now only half-floored. 3-window
house has a front door on front at right under a slate canopy carried on iron
brackets. Windows are 2- and 3-light C20 casements with glazing bars.
Modernised interior.
