TL 74 SE LITTLE YELDHAM BELCHAMP ROAD, South Side
2/15 Mashay Hall

House, C16, with C20 extensions. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched.
5 bays aligned NE-SW with 2 internal chimney stacks. Single storey extension
with slated lean-to roof and conservatory to rear. Single storey with attics.
NW elevation, 3 C18 casement windows, altered, 2 C19 casement windows, and 2
C20 casement windows in gabled dormers. The interior has jowled posts, heavy
studding, and the mortices of an unglazed window in the rear wall. Inserted
floor with chamfered beam and lamb's tongue stops. It has formed a range of
2 or more cottages, now combined.
