House and shop. Probably of C19 origin, but much rebuilt in the early C20 by
Christine Hamlyn. Rendered and whitewashed, sham timber - framing on gable end
facing onto the roadside; slate roof to gable ends, 2 central squat brick ridge
stacks.
Plan : rectangular on plan.
Exterior: 3 storeys, roadside front with a simple late C19 or early C20 shopfront
on the ground floor, large single-pane casements flanking a C19 6-panelled door,
above the gable wall is blank except for the false timber-framing. Most interest
lies on the side facing onto the sea, 3 storeys, 3:1 windows, 2 and 3-light C19
casements, with small rectangular panes, 2-window openings are blocked, but their
reveals and opening still show. Elevations facing into nillside with 2 slated lean-
tos.
